With the objective of enhancing students' creative thinking, concentration, memory, and self-confidence, Excellent Science and Commerce Pre-University College, Kallabettu, Moodbidri, organized a special workshop on "Mind Mapping" conducted by renowned trainer Dr. Sarfaraz J. Hasim. During the session, Dr. Sarfaraz J. Hasim explained the art of organizing thoughts systematically, effective learning strategies, scientific techniques to improve memory, the development of creative thinking, and the importance of self-reflection. Through a series of interactive discussions and practical activities, he presented the concepts in an engaging and thought-provoking manner. He emphasized that recognizing one's hidden potential and channeling it towards meaningful goals is the key to success. Students enthusiastically participated throughout the workshop and actively engaged in various thinking and learning activities. Addressing the gathering, the Secretary of the institution, Mrs. Rashmitha Jain, said, "Education today should go beyond examination results and focus on developing students' thinking ability, problem-solving skills, and overall personality. During the valedictory function held in the evening, the Chairman of the institution, Mr. Yuvaraj Jain, felicitated the resource person, Dr. Sarfaraz J. Hasim, by presenting him with a sapling as a token of appreciation. The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Mr. Pushparaj.
